Most agencies rely on basic logs and reactive workflows. This means that when something goes wrong, a website crashes, an order fails, content changes unexpectedly, or a client asks “what happened?”, teams often end up guessing instead of knowing. And that delay in getting answers slowly erodes client trust.
In this talk, I explain why incomplete, delayed, and easily tampered-with visibility creates operational and business risks for agencies managing WordPress websites at scale. I also discuss what “real visibility” actually looks like, from detailed activity logs and real-time alerts, to centralized monitoring and offsite log storage.
The goal of this session is not to talk about security. It is about helping agencies move from reactive to proactive website management, improving accountability, troubleshooting, client communication, and ultimately client retention.
If you manage WordPress websites for clients, this talk will help you rethink how your agency monitors, manages, and supports websites behind the scenes.

During the presentation I highlight a number of features, such as real-time notifications and storing logs on third-party solutions like AWS CloudWatch, and also share screenshots of detailed logs. These features and screenshots are taken from WP Activity Log, the most detailed activity log plugin on the market, offering broad logging and session management capabilities for easier troubleshooting, compliance, user management, and security.
